Licono supplies digital software licences. Below we explain clearly how your right of withdrawal works and when you can return an order.
When you buy online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. You keep that right in full for as long as your order has not yet been processed. If the licence has not yet been prepared or delivered, you can cancel your purchase within that period free of charge and receive a refund.
Licono processes almost every order immediately: as soon as you pay, your licence code is prepared and delivered to you straight away. At that point the order has been processed and digital delivery has begun. In most cases your order is therefore already processed before you close the page, and that specific licence can no longer be taken back.
This follows directly from the law. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal lapses once delivery has begun with your express consent and you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU). You agree to this when you complete your order.
If your order has not yet been processed, your right of withdrawal still applies in full. This may be the case, for example, if delivery has not yet started or has failed technically. In that case, contact us within 14 days of your purchase at info@licono.nl and include:
We will review your request and let you know as soon as possible whether the order qualifies for withdrawal.
If a delivered licence demonstrably does not work, we will of course put it right. We will help you with the installation or activation and, where necessary, supply a replacement licence. If we are unable to resolve the problem, we will offer a suitable solution or a refund.
If we approve a refund, we will return the amount via your original payment method. This is done within 14 days, and in practice usually within a few working days. We do not charge any administration fees.
